- Preston has over 20 years IT editorial experience.
- In addition to being CSF's Editor-in-Chief, Preston is the editor of O'Reilly's WindowsDevCenter.com; contributing editor for IDG's HealthIT World.com; editor of CMP's NetworkingPipeline.com and contributing columnist at TechTarget's SearchWebServices.com.
- Preston has published widely about technology in numerous newspapers and magazines, including PC Magazine, Computerworld, CIO Magazine, VAR Business, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Dallas Morning News (as technology columnist), among many others.
- As a widely recognized technology expert, Preston has made frequent television and radio appearances, including CBS Early Show, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, ABC World News Now, ZDTV, CNET Radio, NPR's (National Public Radio) 'All Things Considered' and many others.
- Preston has also authored more than 30 books on technology which have been translated into 15 languages and sold several hundred thousand copies worldwide.
